Pratt Munson College of Art & Design - Adjunct Faculty Application

Pratt Munson College of Art & Design is actively seeking dynamic and creative individuals to join our adjunct faculty for both studio and academic roles. We are accepting applications on a rolling basis for consideration in upcoming semesters.

Individuals interested in art-time, adjunct teaching positions should possess the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Area of Expertise, MFA for Studio Areas
  • Practicing artist or designer (studio classes only)
  • Previous teaching experience is required
  • Evidence of the ability to teach and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Compensation: $3,500-$4,000 per class per semester

About Us:

Pratt Munson, located in Utica, New York, is an affiliate of Pratt Institute and offers the first two years of a Pratt BFA. Upon completion of their sophomore year, students relocate to Brooklyn where they complete their final two years of study at Pratt Institute. Pratt Munson College of Art and Design is a division of the parent arts organization Munson. Founded in 1919, Munson also includes a nationally recognized Museum of Art and an active Performing Arts program.

The Museum of Art is renowned for its art collection and Phillip Johnson designed building. The School of Art offers a large community arts education program in art and the nationally accredited college art program affiliated with Pratt Institute. Pratt Munson is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, Middle States Association, and New York State Education Department.
